Past Due Notice

1992… A Massachusetts National Guard unit, under the command of Captain Aiden DeCarr and Sergeant Conor McQuaid, are deployed to Iraq during the waning days of the Kuwait invasion. Hearing that Hussein hid gold in a small village, the unit steals the gold but in doing so murder a local family… except for a 15 year old boy who escaped and vows revenge.

2012… Twenty years later, Aiden DeCarr is now Governor and dealing with a PR nightmare as several of the Commonwealth’s most iconic landmarks are destroyed by bombs, virtually shutting down the lucrative tourism industry. And to make matters worse, members of his unit are being systematically eliminated.

Two sets of enemies; a Cape Cod gangster turned gunrunner and a Boston detective who put his nephew in prison, inadvertently wind up on a cruise ship together. But it’s no ordinary cruise ship. Everything seems normal until the sun goes down and the entire crew transforms into ravenous vampires. Now, in order to survive and get off the ship, it’s a situation where “enemies of my enemies are my friends,” as everyone fights together for survival. The Poseidon Adventure meets Dusk to Dawn, and the term “free buffet” takes on a whole new horrifying meaning.

Boston… Summer… 1989.
Vincent McAllister, the manager of a Blockbuster Video store and a hardcore horror movie savant, wants to be a famous writer, but the rejection slips start to pile up. Being told in the letters his style lacks “realism,” Vincent decides maybe he needs to “practice what he preaches” and unleashes a killing spree on the city. His clues left at the scene and the methods of the killings taken from classic horror films. Stumped by the clues, two Boston detectives and a disgraced ex-Red Sox player team up to try and stop the murders and find the killer.

In the late-1990s, Boston’s waterfront area is a barren wasteland of warehouses, parking lots and dive bars. An unscrupulous real estate developer, T. Paul Pritchard, has a vision of rejuvenating the area with a luxury 25-story apartment building. The only problem is the land he wants to build on is a residential section of South Boston, which raises the ire of notorious Southie gangster, Shay Givens.

As Pritchard’s plan comes to fruition, and bodies start to fall in his war with Givens, Pritchard must deal with one of the residents, a mysterious old Romanian woman. Just before she is forcibly evicted from her home, the woman places an ancient curse on Pritchard and his project. The developer thinks nothing of this; until the construction starts and evil comes looking to collect on a promise.

November 1942… Liam Mulvaney, a 17-year old bus boy at the Cocoanut Grove nightclub in Boston, inadvertently becomes involved when a fire destroys the club and kills over 460 people.

June 1972… Nearly 30 years later, and wracked with guilt over his part in the fatal nightclub fire, Liam is now a Fire Investigator trying to find out who is burning down the City of Boston as a series of horrific fires take dozens of innocent lives.

THE BIG DIG.

It is the mega-construction project that paralyzed Boston in the late-1990s, the largest urban construction project in history. But something is going terribly wrong as more and more mysterious deaths begin to pile up during the excavation, causing a shutdown and a loss of millions of dollars.

An evil has been unleashed. One that had lay dormant for 100 years, last rearing its horrific specter during the digging of Boston’s first underground subway system in 1895.

It was hungry then… and it’s hungry now.

WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?

In the summer of 2025, Canada is on the brink of economic collapse. The United States has its own problems. A weak President and self-serving factions inside the U.S. government have carved the military to the bone and pretty much isolated itself from the rest of the world. Therefore, the United States refuses to help Canada in her time of need. Russia, sensing a weakness in North America, convinces Canada that the time is right to regain its national pride.

The solution: Russia will help Canada invade the United States.

The bloody legend of Jack the Ripper has haunted our memories for over 100 years, certainly long enough that we no longer feel threatened.
But what if, through a strange set of circumstances, Jack the Ripper no longer stalked the dark and dirty alleys of 1888 London looking for his victims? What if instead the killer suddenly materialized in 2021, finding himself now empowered in a techno-world of dating apps, Facebook groups, and online chats? Potential victims at the tip of his fingers. A kid in a bloody candy store. But who will stop him?

1979 … The rock world is on fire as guitar-slinger Nikki St. Ann and his band, Nightshade, take the country by storm with a number-one album and a sold out concert tour. But is Nikki St. Ann really what he appears to be? And why are there so many missing persons and bizarre murders happening at every stop on the tour? It’s up to five individuals to solve this mystery: a Boston Police Detective, the owner of a record store and his young manager, a curator at the Museum of Fine Arts, and a fallen Catholic priest. Together they must confront their own demons and face the ultimate challenge: to stop an impending apocalypse.

In 1945 Hitler committed suicide in his bunker… or did he? In 2008 our nation was on the brink of economic collapse… but what, or who, was behind it? These two compelling questions intersect in this thrilling look at how the events in the final days of World War II could have possibly had a direct impact on the near total collapse of the U.S. financial sector. But to what end? Part historical fiction, part political thriller, The Voice of Rage & Ruin will keep you riveted as pieces are put ruthlessly into place in order to shape a new America.

The story of Assad and Frances Hajjar is a love story for the ages; he the son of a poor Lebanese furniture-maker turned priest, and she the daughter of a wealthy Italian sea merchant. It’s a tale of unwavering devotion that spans nearly a half-century and four continents, intermingling as it does with the people and events that helped shape our world; from Popes and suffragettes, to heroes and anarchists. Sadly, it’s also a love story that begins and ends with unspeakable acts of violence, events that will define their places in history while at the same time testing their love for each other. Based on a true story, Ersillia: Love & Loss will play with your emotions while drawing you deeper into the world of Assad and Frances. We hope you will enjoy the journey.

Tossed into a social, political and culture firestorm that epitomized the 1960s, five friends from very different backgrounds form a strong bond at a small Vermont College in the fall of 1966. Over the course of four years of college, and a handful of impactful years that will follow, these five friends endure the trials and tribulations that only this tumultuous decade can offer; landmark musical events, blood in the streets, a war tearing apart America at the seams. For this particular group it’s a virtual whirlwind of exuberant highs and devastating lows, caught up in events that will at times illuminate their lives, while also sending those same lives reeling into darkness.
